Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly:

  • Email address when subscribing to our newsletter
  • Email and order information during purchase (processed by Stripe — we never see your payment details)
  • Communications you send to @DatanestDigital on X

Automatically collected data

We collect basic page view analytics using first-party tracking (Supabase):

  • Page views and referrer information
  • Browser type (user agent string)
  • Country-level location (not precise)
  • Anonymous session ID (temporary, stored in your browser)

No cookies are used for tracking. No personal data is sold or shared with third parties for marketing. All analytics data is stored in our own database (Supabase) and never sent to external third-party analytics services.

Newsletter subscriptions

When you subscribe to our newsletter:

  • Your email address is stored in our database (Supabase) and optionally forwarded to ConvertKit for email delivery
  • We track which store you subscribed from to send relevant updates
  • You can unsubscribe anytime by clicking the link in any email

How we use your data

  • To send product updates and occasional launch discounts (you can unsubscribe anytime)
  • To process orders and deliver purchased products
  • To improve our store and product offerings based on aggregate behavior
  • To respond to support inquiries

Data retention

We retain email subscriber data until you unsubscribe. Purchase records are retained for tax and accounting purposes as required by law. Support correspondence is retained for 12 months after the last message.

Third-party services

  • Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy for how they handle your data.
  • Supabase — database hosting for email subscriptions, purchase records, and first-party analytics.
  • ConvertKit — email delivery service for newsletter subscribers.
  • Cloudflare Pages — website hosting and edge CDN.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by DMing @DatanestDigital on X. We will respond within 30 days.
